Bok Choy Asian Stir-Fry

Bok Choy Stir Fry
Bok Choy Stir Fry

Ingredients:

Bok Choy or Baby Bok Choy 1 Packet (about 3 cups loosley packed)
Garlic, lightly bruised 3-4 cloves
Dried chilly (the not so hot variety),cut into 3 pieces 1
Light Soy sauce OR Knorr Hao Chi seasoning 2 tsp (or more to taste)
Vegetable Oil 1-2 Tbsp




Method:

  1. Wash and clean the leaves of Bok Choy very well. Chop/Separate as desired.Bok Choy Chinese Stir-Fry Seasoning
  2. Separate the stem parts from the leaf parts.
  3. Heat oil in a wok till smoky. Add the chilly and garlic and stir fry till garlic turns golden.
  4. Add the stem parts of the chopped up Bok Choy and stir for ½ a minute then add the leaves and stir-fry another minute or till the leaves are just softened. Remember there should be some crunchiness left. Add either soya sauce or Hao Chi seasoning to taste. Stir through and take off the heat.
  5. I like to garnish with some crushed dry chilly fried with salt.

Notes:

Other vegetables can be stir-fried in this simple Chinese style also.(Eg, celery, broccoli, beansprout, Beans)

Key Ingredients: Bok Choy, Garlic, Dried Chilli, Oil, Seasoning.
